Nick’s journey began when he was just 21 years old and became one of the youngest site supervisors in Ontario. For nearly ten years, he worked for a large production builder, overseeing countless projects and managing teams of tradespeople. During these years, Nick discovered some of the biggest challenges facing the construction industry — labour shortages, stretched timelines, and supply chain disruptions. But instead of accepting these industry-wide problems, Nick decided to find solutions. He realized that building solid relationships with people was the key to overcoming these challenges. If you treat people well, they’ll go above and beyond for you. This simple but powerful idea became a cornerstone of Nick’s approach to management.

Nick worked with thousands of tradespeople as a site supervisor. He quickly realized that some trades consistently delivered exceptional work, and some didn’t. When Nick decided to move from production building to the custom home market, he took his network of trusted tradespeople with him. He started implementing these skilled tradespeople into his custom home projects. As his reputation grew, he began solving more significant industry problems for himself and other builders and developers. Nick’s unique ability to hand-pick the best trades and his extensive network allowed him to tackle issues like labour shortages and tight project timelines.
